Set in beautiful grounds on the cliffs between Bude and Widemouth Bay, this newly refurbished accommodation embraces some of the country’s finest coastline, with fantastic coastal and countryside views.
At Elements’ you can experience superb rooms, excellent facilities, an exemplary all-day menu and a style in a league of its own. The hotel has a bar and restaurant, as well a gym where you may use the fitness equipment, sauna and solarium free of charge.
There is a purpose-built surfboard store and drying room for your surfing/walking gear and bikes, kite-surfing rig etc. There are a number of foam surfboards for guests’ use. If you fancy learning to surf, lessons can be arranged for you under the expert tuition of a former European champion.

All children are welcome. All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding. All older children or adults are charged GBP 45.00 per night and person for extra beds. Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
The bedrooms at Elements’ are comfortable and stylish, and come complete with contemporary en suite bathrooms, and LCD TVs with a PlayStation 2 for games, CDs and DVDs. Please see individual room details for a complete list of facilities on offer.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Sunday from 18:00 (Wednesday to Sunday out of season). Sunday lunches are served from 12:00 to 14.30. Breakfast is served everyday between 08.30 and 09.30.
Elements' Cafe opens early, serving a delicious range of breakfasts to suit every appetite, as well as wonderful coffees and delicious home-made juices and smoothies. Later on in the morning, the daytime menu starts to unfold, offering light lunches, a serious re-fuel after a satisfying coastal walk, or an indulgent Cornish cream tea (compulsory in these parts!).
As the evening draws in, the dining room becomes home to simply delectable à la carte cuisine. Fresh, locally sourced ‘real’ food is served by professional staff, so you can just relax, enjoy your food and drink and watch the sun go down over the sea. Booking is essential for the evening to avoid disappointment.
By Car
From the A30:
- Take the B3254 Launceston exit to Bude.
- Immediately, at the mini roundabout at Bude town centre, take the left fork signposted ‘Widemouth Bay Coastal Route’.
- Elements is approximately one mile through Upton, on your left-hand side.
By Public Transport
There are coaches from Exeter to Bude by coach. Take a taxi from Bude to the hotel.
